Dimensie

Here we are!

The RedacCie is Dimensie’s committee that is in charge of the Dimensie Blog. Every Wednesday we’ll post new interesting and entertaining stories for you about different topics. But also blog posts about psychological topics and other educational posts, for example about different cultures. Next, we’ll provide you with monthly updates about Dimensie, including reporting about past events and informing you about future events. 

Whenever you have any feedback, suggestions for us, or wishes or ideas for future blog posts let us know in the comments!

Iris: 

Hello, I am Iris, I am 20 years old and the board responsible and treasurer of RedacCie. I am also the treasurer of the 20th board of Dimensie and I study next to this. When I am not studying or working for Dimensie I like to go kickboxing and I love taking a walk outside in nature. At this moment I am in the second year of my study, and doing the mental health module. So far, being on the board of Dimensie taught me to schedule my time efficiently and organize bigger events and be responsible for them. I never wrote blogs before which is also why I would love to learn how to write interesting and fun blogs. I always love to read blogs about interesting topics like study hacks or health, and this year I want to write them myself. I am really looking forward to being on this committee this year!

Janna: 

Hey Guys I’m Janna. I’m in my third year of Psychology now, but I’m currently on a semester abroad in Riga, Latvia where I’m studying a wild mix between Communication, Business, and Law. I already joined RedacCie last year, because I wanted to do something besides my studies, especially during the lockdown, and to get to know new people by becoming an active member of Dimensie. 

Besides playing guitar and doing sports, I love to come up with new stories and to write them down, but also to research deeper into topics to report about it. Therefore I wanted to join RedacCie again and I’m so looking forward to the upcoming year and all the blog post!

Natalia:

Hey! My name is Natalia, I’m 20 years old and I’m from Argentina although I’ve lived most of my life in Spain. I’m currently at the University of Twente for an exchange. As for my time in Enschede, I have been really enjoying getting to explore the city and other parts of the Netherlands in general, although I’m still trying to get used to the weather! My free time involves watching Netflix, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. I also really enjoy baking, travelling, and getting to know new people. I’m very excited that I’m able to be a part of RedacCie, specifically as secretary, during my time here. I’ve never written a blog post before but I do really enjoy reading and I like to write, which is why I’m excited to develop my skills in RedacCie.

Yaz: 

Hello! I am Yaz and I am 26. I am from Turkey, but I did my bachelor’s in Cyprus, so I was there for 5 years before coming here. Now I am doing my pre-master’s in Human Factors and Engineering Psychology and will start my master in February. I am also a part-time student in Transdisciplinary Master Insert – Shaping Society and Responsible Futures. I enjoy going for walks in nature and watching movies in my free time. I am a nature and animal lover. I also love reading. I have a blog where I write psychological book reviews in Turkish. I like writing and I wanted to write about new topics, so I decided to join the RedacCie. I believe doing something other than the studies will have a positive impact on me and I am sure I will enjoy being a part of the RedacCie. I hope you will also enjoy our committee’s posts. 

Marie

GuMo! My name is Marie and I am 22 years old. I am a third year Psychology student and currently in Italy for my Erasmus. Since my first year I have been an active member at Dimensie. I have been in a lot of different committees like AcCie, PromoCie, Kic’D, and ExpediCie. Last year I was part of the 19th Board of Dimensie as the Commissioner of Internal Affairs. The experience has taught me a lot and I met some of the best people of my life. So I am very grateful for my Dimensie experience so far and I intend to keep it fun and exciting! 

I joined the RedacCie because I enjoy writing a lot. Even though I never wrote a blog before and also cannot say that writing essays for class is a lot of fun, I enjoy putting my thoughts and interesting facts down on paper. My writing experiences are pretty broad including poetry, novels, short stories. I will be the chairwoman of the RedacCie 2021/2022 and I am sure we will write some interesting blogs and stories that interest you!
