Dear students,

On the 25th of February we will have the DEA Cerermony. 

What is the DEA? DEA stands for Decentral Education Awards. It rewards the best teachers of a study programme. Here you will get the chance to vote and show your support for your favourite teacher, which is the teacher you consider the best from your particular study programme.

The winner of the DEA has the option to participate in the TOTYA (Teacher of the Year Award), where the winners from each DEA of each study programme of the university are running against each other for the title of best teacher.

Next to the 'Best Teacher' category, the DEA always contains a second category. Last year this category was the teacher you would most like to have a drink with, this year we chose the 'Student Advocate' category. This category is for any teacher that goes above and beyond to support their students besides teaching them.

We hope to see you at the award ceremony to support your favourite teachers!
