Welcome

Dimensie has been the study association for Psychology and Educational Sciences & Technology at the University of Twente since the 30th of November 1981. On the 7th of September 2015, it was decided to make Dimensie the study association for Psychology only.

Dimensie offers her members the possibility for personal development and support within and outside of the study. Furthermore, Dimensie organizes study-related activities like lectures, excursions, a work field day, and a symposium. Dimensie also organizes leisure activities to help bring members into contact outside of classes in a more informal way.

Our committees

You probably already know that Dimensie has committees. However, did you know that Dimensie has 18 committees, 15 of which YOU can be a part of? These committees are what gives Dimensie character. These committees range from focusing on educational events, to more party related. Truly, there is a committee for everyone. Here is an overview of all the committees we have at Dimensie:

Discord

Did you know that Dimensie has its own Discord server? In this server you're able to talk to other (Active) Members. Moreover, you're able to study together, and/or even plays some games together.

Our location
​​​​​​​We used to be located in Cubicus B111. However, as of June we are located in Langezijds 2505! Hallenweg 6, 7522 NH Enschede. We moved because the Cubicus is being renovated. This is planned to take 2.5 - 4 years. After the renovation Dimensie will move back to the Cubicus.

Amygdala

Amygdala is the alumni association for psychology graduates of the University of Twente. We strive to (re-)connect alumni with each other, as well as with current students at the UT.

Throughout the year the Board of Amygdala will organize events with the main purpose of networking and (re-)connecting with fellow (former) students of the Psychology program of the UT. As soon as you graduate from the Bachelor programme of Psychology at the UT you can sign up to become a member of Amygdala. But why become a member? 

- It is a free membership.
- You get a chance to stay connected to fellow former Psychology students from the UT.
- You can choose to receive a newsletter with news about Amygdala and the UT. 
- You get the opportunity to attend events and activities with fellow alumni.
